Draft survey used to be carried out on bulk cargo and normally done according to the request and on their behalf of sellers, buyers , charterers, ship-owners, P&I clubs, superintending company …..etc.

Draft survey would be normally done in order to determine cargo loaded on the vessel by checking all necessary calculations prior/post loading and the same calculations of at the discharging port to confirm the quantity discharged.
